Setting up and accessing your Employee Personal Page: My EPP

Once you have everything you require you will need to access the National Finance Center website at www.nfc.usda.gov and create an EPP account.

If you already have a temporary password, supplied by your agency, you can skip the New User Sign Up and continue to login.

However, if you have not received an email with a temporary password, you will need to complete the following steps :

On the EPP Login Page click on New User Sign Up

Go to the EPP registration page to enjoy its benefits
Enter the required information (Social Security Number and Date of Birth)
Click Continue
Create your EPP account with your Social Security Number and Date of Birth
When prompted, enter a new user ID and create a password
An email will then be sent to your valid work email address
Follow the instructions in the email to complete the signup process

[warning]When you log into the system for the first time, you will be met by a warning page.[/warning]

The page lays out your responsibilities in relation to using the EPP.

To continue with your login, you will need to agree to the terms that are set out.

You will then be directed to the Login Page. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your login details and set up your security questions.

Once you are successfully logged in, you will be directed to the Home Page; from here you can navigate to other parts of the site including :

Log Out

You can also view, add, and make changes to your financial information via the navigation bar on the left-hand side of the screen.

Getting the most from the NFCS (National Financial Correspondent Services) and My EPP

Once set up, you can access a wide range of information via your EPP. The main benefit of My EPP is that you can gain control over your key financials and ensure that the federal government has the right information about you.

To successfully access all the information, you will require :

Internet enabled PC
Internet Explorer 8 or above (or a similar browser)
JavaScript enabled
And for improved security, you should operate in SSL with caching turned off

My EPP is simple to use.

It makes providing the correct information easy and ensures that you are up to date with what information is required from you and by whom; whether you need to submit your information to DOJ (Department of Justice) or TSA (Transportation Security Administration), you are in complete control.
